Although Tad and Becky Barnhart are Lebanon County natives, they spent 17 years living outside the county before returning "home."  In 2011, Tad felt God calling him into pastoral ministry.  Upon completing the requirements of the United Christian Church, Tad and Becky were assigned to minister at the Newmanstown United Christian Church in 2014.  

Like most United Christian pastors, Tad is bi-vocational.  He works as a waste water operator in Jonestown and has a degree in Environmental Engineering.  His passion is to teach people the Word of God and to see them grow.  

Becky runs the children ministry here at Newmanstown United Christian Church.  She loves telling kids about Jesus.  The running joke at the Barnhart home is "anything can be used for kids ministry!"  

Tad and Becky have four grown children and six grandchildren.
